Hi, I’m Suzie – the florist behind Hello Gorgeous Flower Studio, a friendly local florist in Unanderra, serving Wollongong and surrounding areas with fresh flowers, floral arrangements, and same-day flower delivery.

I grew up in the Wollongong region before spending 17 years on the North Coast, where I ran small businesses and built a love for community connection. When I returned home, I worked as an office manager for a local engineering company, but I knew my heart belonged somewhere more creative. That’s when I decided to pursue floristry full time – turning my passion for flowers into a career.

My journey began with Tilly the Flower Truck – a vintage 1978 FJ45 Landcruiser transformed into a mobile florist. With Tilly, I travelled to Wollongong markets and local cafés, bringing fresh blooms, custom bouquets, and gifts directly to customers.

Three years ago, I opened my flower shop in Unanderra to create a welcoming space for the local community. Today, I specialise in beautiful, hand-crafted floral arrangements for every occasion – from birthdays and anniversaries to sympathy flowers and “just because” bouquets. Whether you’re ordering flowers online for delivery in Wollongong or popping into the shop, my goal is always to create designs that brighten someone’s day.

As a small business owner, I’m proud to support local community initiatives, especially those that empower women. One close to my heart is Dress for Success Illawarra/NSW, which helps women build confidence and opportunities.
